Lead the Future of Patient Care as a Senior Nursing Manager – Oncology

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Senior Nursing Manager to lead our Oncology Nursing Unit. Main Purpose of the Role
To lead, manage, and support the nursing team in delivering patient-centric oncology care in alignment with international clinical standards, ensuring optimal resource utilization, regulatory compliance, and positive patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and support to nursing staff to ensure high performance and team engagement.
Quality of Care: Uphold evidence-based nursing practices in line with clinical standards and promote continuous quality improvement.
Patient Experience: Cultivate a healing environment by focusing on patient satisfaction, dignity, and respect.
Resource & Budget Management: Oversee the effective use of clinical and non-clinical resources to maximize care delivery and cost-efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE healthcare regulations, JCIA standards, and Mediclinic policies.
Minimum Qualifications and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized and accredited nursing institute.
Certification in Oncology Nursing is mandatory.
Valid BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably within a private hospital or oncology unit.
At least 2 years of proven leadership experience in a senior nursing role.
Required Skills and Competencies
Mastery of the five stages of the Scientific Nursing Process: assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.
Knowledge of JCIA standards, clinical governance, and patient safety protocols.
Strong grasp of UAE nursing regulations and scope of practice.
Financial and stock management principles relevant to nursing operations.
Strong risk management knowledge and the ability to implement best practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare information systems.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written). Arabic skills are an advantage.
